About the Musicians

Clarinetist Dina Benson hails from Ypsilanti, Michigan.  She was born and raised in Connecticut, where she started playing the clarinet in 4th grade.  Dina's an accounting specialist whose hobbies include singing as a Taylor Swift tribute artist and playing with "The Ulterior Motives".  Dina also plays in Plymouth Community Band.

French horn and vocalist Gloria Wilson lives in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where she runs a software development contracting shop.  Gloria’s hobbies include sewing, gardening, bicycling, walking and travel.  Gloria plays in Plymouth Community Band, Crosstown Horn Band, and Belleville Community Band.  Gloria has been playing French horn for over 40 years.

Tubist, arranger and band leader Bill Wilson lives in Ann Arbor, where he is a mostly-retired software developer.  Bill’s hobbies include bicycling, travel, and arranging music for various small ensembles, including the Pandemica Driveway Band.  Bill publishes brass quintet sheet music under the “Toot Suite Brass” label.  Bill plays in Plymouth Community Band, Crosstown Horn Band, and Belleville Community Band.  Bill has been playing tuba for over 15 years.

Guitarist Terence Groening lives in Ann Arbor, where he develops automotive driving video games and simulators.  Terence’s hobbies include distance running, coaching sports and academic teams of young people, and songwriting.  Terence plays in Crosstown Horn Band and can occasionally be found playing and singing solo at Chelsea’s “Rumpus Room”.  Terence has been playing guitar for over 25 years.
