History

Pandemica Driveway Band was formed by 5 members of the Crosstown Horn Band and played its first show April 30, 2020. The group formed expressly for the purpose of playing informal “driveway shows” during the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic, and we sized the band down specifically so we could comfortably fit on a driveway or patio and still observe adequate social distancing both within the band and between the band and any audience.

At the end of September, 2020, we look back on a wonderful summer season of over 50 shows in driveways, back yards, and parks. We were joined by many old friends and we made many new friends over the summer.
